A monthly calendar at the beginning of each month is included to give you an overview of your schedules ahead of time. Setting an appointment for the whole month is a practical way to organize yourself and manage your your time wisely.
Prayerfully organize your time and think ahead, develop a habit of ticking your day to set out priorities. Note what are the important dates to remember. This will become your constant companion everyday.
Write your Daily Devotion
- a command to obey,
- promise to claim,
- example to follow,
- sin to forsake, and
- most importantly Knowledge about God in that particular verse. You have even more space to write a prayer list or memory verse for the day.
- You can go by book in the bible
- Read by chapter and pinpoint the key verses from your reading and meditate on it.
- Write what you have learned from the story yiu read and write the key verses that strike you most in your daily devotional planner.
- This will lead you to write a short and practical application, from the last section of the page provided for writing, as to how the verse spoke to you. Make it more specific to your own experience. Ask yourself some of the key questions;
Applying the truth
But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves.
For if any be a hearer of the word, and not a doer, he is like unto a man beholding his natural face in a glass:
For he beholdeth himself, and goeth his way, and straightway forgetteth what manner of man he was.
But whoso looketh into the perfect law of liberty, and continueth therein, he being not a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work, this man shall be blessed in his deed.
let us be doers and not just hearers. The application is what prepares our heart to be doers. It may be difficult at first but with our constant prayer, reading and writing, the words will be embedded in our hearts that God with His Spirit enables us to obey Him.
Start your day with God’s word in our hearts
As you start your day you are more equipped and prepared for the day’s battle. You got covered by God’s mighty power and able to resist all of the devil’s scheme to put you down. With God’s word, you will have a joy unspeakable that you alone can understand and your brothers and sisters in Christ doing the same thing.
End the day with prayer and reflection
Conclusion
The Daily devotional planner is a very useful tool in developing our devotions to God. Writing it will give us even more clearer view of how we can apply the truth we have learned. Write to set up your daily goals based on God’s word and end it by reviewing what transcribed during the day. If you missed out something, it’s ok, maybe that particular application needs more time to prepare. You can add that to your list of task to be done or to be improved. This will serve as a guide not as a law to strictly follow. It is God’s grace that will help you apply the truth as you grow.
Develop a habit and this will turn into a character building and a life changing journey to an obedient Christian in Action!
